Picnic Panic
Background:
Gluten free beer company, looking to become a wildly accessible product in a gluten-beer dominate industry, is in need of a brand identity and packaging.
Challenge:
Developing a brand identity that does not have “gluten” in the name or as the main narrative element (like most gluten free products have).
Solution:
A name that relays the experience of being invited to a food gathering with a dietary restriction, Picnic Panic is a wink towards the gluten free community as a fun and funky product with an inside joke built in. The “picnic” aspect is represented in the graphic content by using the earth’s elements but manipulated in a way that has a trippy layering effect which aligns and illustrates the “panic” emotion as well as the vision effects that an alcoholic beverage may have on a person.
